Which size fits my basket?
Breville and Sage machines (Barista Express, Pro, Touch, Bambino, Infuser, Duo Temp Pro): choose 54mm, a true 53.3mm fit. All other 58mm machines: choose 58mm, a true 58.35mm precision fit. Unsure? Message your machine model and we'll confirm.
What's it made of? Is it food-safe?
A 304 food-safe stainless steel base machined flat to tolerance, an anodized aluminium body, and a solid walnut handle. Every material is chosen for daily use in a precision setup.
Will it actually improve my shots?
It removes two variables: pressure and level. With those locked, your grind and extraction have a stable foundation, so dialing in gets predictable and repeatable shots follow.
Does it help with channeling?
Yes. Channelling starts with a tilted or uneven puck. The self-leveling base corrects your hand angle automatically, and the calibrated spring delivers the same pressure every press. Fewer variables in, fewer surprises out.
Is it suitable if I'm still learning?
Yes. It doesn't teach technique, it removes a variable. Press until you hear the click and the tamp is consistent, whatever your experience. The learning curve gets shorter when the tamper is no longer the thing in the way.

At
Kanpeki 完璧 means perfect in Japanese. Considered. Refined. Intentional. It's the standard every tool leaves our hands with.
Built for the workflow, the machine, and the setup you have spent time getting right.
Kanpeki Lab started with a frustration most baristas know well. Inconsistent tools, poor fit, and accessories that don't match the standard of the machines they're paired with. So we built the tools we couldn't find.
We don't build accessories. We build precision tools for a specific kind of person. One who treats espresso as a craft, not a convenience.
Every product we develop starts with the same question: does this meet the standard our customer already holds themselves to? If it doesn't, it doesn't leave our hands.
